UPDATE ON COMPANY ACTIVITIES

The Directors of Sub Soil Technologies Limited (“SOI” or the “Company”) are pleased to provide an update to shareholders regarding the Company’s recent activities.

Nutrimix and Soil Technology

The Company has recently commenced trials on fodder sorghum crops requiring 10 tonnes of blended, aggregated and bagged Nutrimix product. Two control areas were used, one area was trialled with conventional chemical fertilisers and the other without any application of fertiliser.

The trialled product was a result of recent soil analysis to identify the best cost effectiveness matrix of nutrients. Within 2 days of planting, emerging growth appeared. Leaf analysis will take place at regular intervals to monitor nutrient levels through to maturity. A pre-harvest analysis will be performed and harvest yield data collected. This will provide the Company with critical information on the difference in tonnes of dry matter produced per hectare from the different trials.

Preliminary work has identified an agricultural waste material that contains high levels of nitrogen. Work is continuing to convert this into soluble nitrogen for the hydroponic industry and as a product that can be applied by spraying for organic and other cropping applications. Once this is complete extensive trialling will commence.

The Company’s consultants have started preliminary research into competitors and undertaken target market analysis for the Nutrimix products. Farmer interviews will commence shortly to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the fertiliser industry including usage trends, preferences, purchasing criteria and pricing.

Microbe Technology Trials

The Company is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Management Agreement with PT Teguh Perkasa Utama (the “Manager”) to project manage the trialling of proprietary microbes that have been licensed by soil technology company International Environmental Management (IEM). The IEM microbes may expedite the breakdown process when added to waste, currently being used in the composition of the Nutrimix products.

The Management Agreement establishes a technical alliance between the Company and the Manager, to trial the IEM technology licensed to PT Tengu Perkasa Utama at a designated trial plot in Indonesia, just outside of the capital Jakarta and a corresponding smaller control trial plot in Perth Western Australia.

Several advantages of trialling the IEM technology in Indonesia include:

• Larger waste streams with less trialling restrictions;

• Similar temperature, humidity and climate to the Queensland Nutrimix trials;

• Labour and laboratory testings costs are considerably cheaper in all aspects of the trialling process;

• Should trialling reach commercialisation stage, estimated cost of production of the final products may be 40% less than similar production costs in Australia;

• All previous IEM testing in respect of certifications were performed in Indonesia and used towards the development of an Australian product range;

• The export market for fertilisers is larger in South East Asia due to the proximity of neighbouring countries;

• The Manager and associated networks are based in Jakarta Indonesia.

Primarily the Company is interested in observing the Licensees Technology which may potentially expedite the break down process of various wastes, with the objective of arriving at a faster rate of production for the Nutrimix line of products as outlined in the Company’s report of 9 August 2011.

About IEM Technology

IEM’s technology and associated systems in sustainable waste management for agriculture have been licensed on a worldwide basis to PT. Teguh Perkasa Utama. IEM technology specializes in waste management and the manufacture of agricultural fertilizer and associated products, derived from the conversion process.

IEM technology and its various processes utilise proprietary enzymes, which are used in the rapid and efficient conversion of domestic and commercial waste streams into certifiable and environmentally friendly fertilizers. The use of these fertilizers and the process may result in accredited traceable carbon credits (Certified Emission Reductions).

Through its license PT. Tengu Perkasa Utama, has access to key technical staff and personnel who will assist the Company as it moves through the trialling process.

Details of the Technical Management Agreement

• PT. Tengu Perkasa Utama will provide the following services:

• Identification of a suitable plot area for the trialling process in Indonesia and Australia subject to approval by the Company;

• Coordination of the IEM trialling process;

• Procurement of all materials necessary to carry out the above mentioned trialling process;

• The Manager will provide monthly reports to the Company on progress of trials;

• Supervision, control, engagement and payment of all full time and part time employees and all consultants, bankers, accountants, solicitors, brokers and agents of any description who in the opinion of the Manager should be employed or engaged by the Company, of the Company or any Related Corporation including the power to suspend or dismiss or vary the terms or conditions of employment or engagement of any such person.

The Company will update shareholders as the trialling process continues.
