Press Release
PNE WIND AG: Creditreform confirmed BB- rating
and removed it from watch list
Cuxhaven, 06.04.2016: Creditreform has confirmed the BB- credit rating of PNE WIND AG in a follow up rating and has removed it from the watch list.
Relevant for Creditreform’s rating assessment is the consistent operational development and the development of financing structures which continue to be influenced by the build out of the wind farm portfolio. In this regard, there are higher financial requirements within the context of this strategy until the exit. The planned completion of the bundled wind farm portfolio sales transaction is expected to result in clearly positive sales, earnings and liquidity contributions till year’s end. According to Creditreform, PNE WIND AG’s liquidity planning has a suitable capacity till the end of the year or the sale of the wind farm portfolio even when considered together with the letter of comfort provided for certain financial credit lines of WKN AG. According to the credit agency, the company’s activities in the onshore and offshore wind project business are unchanged and continue to be characterized by various risks which may correspondingly have an effect on the assets, financial position and results as well as the business and liquidity position. The rating is currently limited by the above aspects.
