Pursuant to regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we hereby inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at their Meeting held today appointed Ms. Meenakshi Nevatia (DIN: 08235844) as an Additional Director and Managing Director of the Company for a period of 5 years with effect from April 3, 2023. The appointment of Ms. Nevatia will be subject to the approval of shareholders through Postal Ballot and Central Government.

Additional details required to be disclosed pursuant to the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015 read with SEBI Circular Nos. CIR/CFD/CMD/412015 dated September 9, 2015 and List/Comp/14/2018-19 dated June 20, 2018, are enclosed as Annexure A.

Intimation is also hereby given that Mr. S. Sridhar, Managing Director, who had decided to take early retirement (which was communicated to you vide our letter dated August 10, 2022 – copy enclosed) has submitted his resignation with effect from March 31, 2023. Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Company hereby wishes to notify that Mr. S. Sridhar, Managing Director, has expressed his intention to take an early retirement and has tendered his resignation as the Managing Director of the Company. Mr. Sridhar will continue to serve in his current position of Managing Director for as long a period as required until the identification, selection and transition to the new leadership takes place in the Company. The effective date of his resignation shall be as agreed between Mr. Sridhar and the Board of Directors, and the same will be notified to you separately.

Over the past 14 years, Mr. Sridhar has led a number of key leadership positions in Pfizer Limited, including serving as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer for a period of 8 years. Over the past 6 years, Mr. Sridhar has led Pfizer Limited as the Company’s Managing Director and made significant contributions to the growth of the Company’s portfolio, presence across India and reach to patients who have benefited from access to Pfizer therapies. Mr. Sridhar has also served as the Co-Chair of the FICCI Pharmaceuticals Committee and currently also serves as the President of the Organization of Pharmaceuticals Producers of India (OPPI).
