Perpetual Investments Funds Under Management Tuesday 9 November 2004

Perpetual Investments advises that its funds under management as at 31 October 2004 were $23.7 billion. Funds under management as at 30 September 2004 were $23.0 billion.

Going forward Perpetual will return to lodging monthly funds under management updates with the ASX to proactively address the level of interest from the market.

As part of the annual and half yearly reporting process Perpetual will also provide more detailed disclosure in relation to funds under management, in line with the disclosure set out in the 2004 Annual Report.
