Tony D’Aloisio commences as Chairman

Perpetual advises Mr Tony D’Aloisio today commenced his role as Chairman, taking over from Peter Scott, who has retired from the Board after 12 years of service.

Mr Scott, who joined Perpetual as a Director in July 2005, was appointed Chairman in October 2010.

“It has been a privilege to be part of the Perpetual Board for the past 12 years. Perpetual is an outstanding company that has been serving the needs of clients’ for more than 130 years.

“Tony, with his extensive business and financial services experience, will continue to move the business forward in what is an evolving, dynamic and increasingly important sector of the Australian economy,” said Mr Scott.

Mr D’Aloisio was appointed Chairman-elect in December 2016.

“On behalf of Board members past and present, employees, clients and shareholders, I’d like to thank Peter for his dedication and unwavering commitment to growing this great business.

“It has been a pleasure to work closely with him over the past six months, and the Board will continue to work on the strong foundations that have been put in place to ensure the ongoing success of Perpetual,” said Mr D’Aloisio.
