Perpetual Promotes Vince Pezzullo to Deputy Head of Equities

Portfolio Managers and senior analysts elevated

Perpetual has today announced the promotion of Vince Pezzullo to Deputy Head of Equities, effective immediately, along with the elevation of various Portfolio Managers and Senior Analysts in its Australian equities investment team.

These moves follow the resignation of current Deputy Head of Equities Nathan Parkin. Parkin’s portfolio management responsibilities have been transitioned to Vince Pezzullo and Jack Collopy.

In announcing the changes, Head of Equities Paul Skamvougeras said the team of 22 equity investment professionals is well positioned and focused on delivering consistent, strong investment performance for clients.

“I’m pleased to be promoting from within and expanding the responsibilities of senior, high performing team members,” Mr Skamvougeras said.

“Vince will be an outstanding Deputy Head of Equities and is well placed to assume accountability for our flagship Australian Share Fund.

“Over time our approach to succession planning has always benefited our clients. It ensures our distinctive value investment process is readily transferable among high-calibre team members as their careers grow and progress,” he said.

Mr Skamvougeras wished Mr Parkin every success in his future endeavours, noting his significant personal and professional contribution to Perpetual and its clients over 11 years.

Perpetual will be seeking to hire at least two new analysts following the promotions announced today.
