Kin Mining NL (KIN:ASX) is pleased to announce that the Second Phase of the Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling at Merton’s Reward will begin this week.
RC drilling commences at Merton’s Reward
-
A 2,000 metre, RC program is scheduled to commence this week at Merton’s Reward. The program is designed to follow up on a series of significant drill intersections encountered during May 2016.
-
Depth extensions of the T1 and T2 lodes between 100m and 150m have been selected and targeted during this drilling program.
-
The drilling follows up several significant, previously announced (May 12[th] and May 20[th] 2016) RC intersections including:
-
27m @ 2.65 g/t Au (66-93m) MR16RC004
-
1m @ 16.7 g/t Au (84-85m) MR16RC006
-
o1m @ 10.7 g/t Au (9-10m) MR16RC008
-
-
Drilling is designed to test both the down plunge extensions and potential strike extensions of the previously announced high grade gold intersections.
-
Targets (T1 and T2) are regarded as high priority. The rig has been mobilized and the program is expected to continue until the end of June 2016.
Managing Director said “ The Mertondale geological model correlates very well with the drill intercepts received to date and interpretation suggests that the two plunging lodes are continuous at depth. It’s pleasing to have a rig back on site after completing a successful capital raising of $1.68M ”.
