PARTNER COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES RECEIVING TWO LAWSUITS AND MOTIONS FOR THE RECOGNITION OF THESE LAWSUITS AS CLASS ACTIONS

Rosh Ha'ayin, Israel, February 23, 2012 - Partner Communications Company Ltd. ("Partner" or "the Company") (NASDAQ and TASE: PTNR), a leading Israeli mobile communications operator, announces that it was served with two lawsuits and motions for the recognition of these lawsuits as class actions, filed against Partner on February 7, 2012 in the Tel-Aviv District Court.

The first lawsuit alleges that Partner breached a statutory duty and did not comply with the provisions of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law by unlawfully charging "initiation fees" when changing tariff plans.

If the first lawsuit is recognized as a class action the total amount claimed against Partner is estimated by the plaintiffs to be approximately NIS 158 million.

The second lawsuit alleges that Partner misled its customers by misrepresenting to them the balance of unused minutes of the package of minutes, while in fact it charged them for minutes that exceeded the package.

If the second lawsuit is recognized as a class action the total amount claimed against Partner is estimated by the plaintiffs to be approximately NIS 475 million.

Partner is reviewing the lawsuits and is unable, at this preliminary stage, to evaluate, with any degree of certainty, the probability of success of the lawsuits or the range of potential exposure, if any.

פרטנר תקשורת מודיעה על קבלת שתי תביעות ובקשות לאשרן כתובענות ייצוגיות

ראש העין, ישראל, 23 בפברואר 2012 - חברת פרטנר תקשורת בע"מ (להלן "פרטנר" או "החברה") (NASDAQ) ו-TASE (PTNR: TASE), מפעילת תקשורת מובילה בישראל, מודיעה כי קיבלה 2 כתבי תביעה ובקשות לאישור התביעות כתובענות ייצוגיות, שהוגשו כנגד פרטנר לבית המשפט המחוזי בתל-אביב ביום 7 בפברואר 2012.

בתביעה הראשונה נטען, כי פרטנר הפרה חובה חקוקה ולא מילאה אחר הוראות חוק הגנת הצרכן בכך שגבתה שלא כדין "דמי הקמה" בגין מעבר בין תכניות תעריפים.

במקרה שהתביעה הראשונה תאושר כתובענה ייצוגית, מוערך סכום התביעה כנגד פרטנר על ידי התובעים בכ-158 מליון ש"ח.

בתביעה השניה נטען, כי פרטנר הטעתה את לקוחותיה בהציגה מצג לפיו נותרה להם יתרת דקות לא מנוצלת במסגרת חבילת הדקות, כאשר בפועל גבתה מהם תשלום עבור דקות שיחה החורגות מחבילת הדקות.

במקרה שהתביעה השניה תאושר כתובענה ייצוגית, מוערך סכום התביעה כנגד פרטנר על ידי התובעים בכ-475 מליון ש"ח.

פרטנר בוחנת את התביעות ואין בידה, בשלב מוקדם זה, כדי להעריך, באיזושהי מידה של וודאות, את סיכויי הצלחת התביעות או את היקף החשיפה הפוטנציאלית בגינן, ככל שקיימת.
