Argonaut Resources NL (ASX: ARE) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Argonaut Resources NL (‘ARE’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of ARE, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday, 15 June 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for a trading halt pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Argonaut Resources NL (Argonaut) requests that a trading halt be granted by the ASX in respect of Argonaut securities with immediate effect.

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, and in support of its request, Argonaut advises that:

1. the trading halt is requested pending an announcement by Argonaut in relation to a capital raising;

2. it requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of such time as it makes an announcement to the market about the capital raise, and the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday 15 June 2021; and

3. it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
