Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or the 'Company') has received notification on 26 March 2015 from Mawer Investment Management Limited of an increase in its shareholding in the Company.  Following a purchase of 13,276,000 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the capital of the Company on 26 March 2015 at a price of €8.25 per ordinary share, Mawer Investment Management Limited is now the holder of 17,287,600 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in Origin.  This holding represents approximately 13.8% of the Company's issued share capital, excluding treasury shares.
