OMV: Changes in Executive Board Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– – Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer confirmed as Chairman and CEO of the Executive Board – Gerhard Roiss confirmed as Deputy Chairman – Helmut Langanger appointed to the Board with responsibility for Exploration and Production At today’s meeting the OMV Supervisory Board confirmed unanimously the appointments of Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer and Gerhard Roiss as the new CEO and Deputy Chairman respectively, for the period January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2004. Helmut Langanger, currently Senior Vice President responsible for Exploration and Production (E & P), has also been appointed to the Board with responsibility for E & P during the aforementioned period. Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer will become CEO when the current Chairman and CEO Richard Schenz steps down on December 31, 2001. Gerhard Roiss will take over responsibility for Refining and Marketing (R & M) from Tassilo Peyrer- Heimstätt, who will step down from the Board on December 31, 2001 and will be responsible for Plastics. At the next OMV Supervisory Board meeting to be held on December 13, 2001, a further Board member with responsibility for Finance will be appointed and the complete rules of procedure will be established.
