NRC GROUP ASA - EXERCISE OF CONTRACT OPTION - SEK 180 MILLION

NRC GROUP ASA - EXERCISE OF CONTRACT OPTION - SEK 180 MILLION

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice made by

NRC Group ASA ("NRC Group") on 2 March 2016 regarding

the initial SEK 115 million contract appointment to

Segermo Entreprenad AB, a company wholly owned by NRC

Group, in connection with part 2 of the Ludvika -

Frövi renewal. The initial contract appointment also

included an option for the Swedish Transport

Administration (Trafikverket) to include also part 3

in the same contract.

The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket)

has now decided to exercise the option to include the

connection from Lindesberg to Storå, being part 3 of

the Ludvika - Frövi renewal in the same contract. This

work will relate to renewal of approximately 14

kilometer railway and will involve rail services such

as groundwork, track, electro and signal.

The contract for part 3 is valued at approximately SEK

180 million, implying a total contract value

for NRC Group of approximately SEK 295 million.

The contract is the largest track contract awarded to

NRC Group to date, and confirms NRC Group's

strong position as a leading fully integrated rail

infrastructure contractor in Sweden.

The work will commence in January 2017, and the

project is scheduled for completion in November 2017.

Closing date for submission of complaints is 10 days

from Friday 21 October, and formal contractual signing

can take place after this period at the earliest.

Oslo, 24 October 2016.
