Freedom Foods Group Limited Australian Fresh Milk Holdings (AFMH) Acquisition

Freedom Foods Group Limited ( Freedom Foods or the Company ) (ASX: FNP) advises today that Australian Fresh Milk Holdings (AFMH) have entered into agreements to purchase the Coomboona Dairy operation in Northern Victoria.

The purchase of the Coomboona Dairy operation by AFMH will expand its production platform into Northern Victoria, providing the opportunity to leverage its integrated approach to deliver sustainable production of high quality milk, supporting a range of value added product opportunities.

AFMH currently operates a fully integrated dairy farming operation, Moxey Farms, located in the Lachlan Valley, New South Wales, 340 km west of Sydney.

AFMH is a strategic partnership owned by the Moxey and Perich families and other shareholders including Freedom Foods Group. FNP has a 10% equity shareholding in AFMH.

With the acquisition of the Coomboona Dairy operation, AFMH will be the largest dairy producer in Australia with current operations forecasting over 150 million litres of production into 2019.

The purchase of the Coomboona Dairy operation is subject to certain conditions precedent in the sale agreement.

Freedom Foods Utilisation of AFMH Milk Source

Freedom Foods intends to utilise a growing proportion of the dairy milk output from both Moxey Farm and Coomboona Dairy for its Australia’s Own Kid’s Milk and other dairy product formats.
