NORMA Group AG acquires Connectors Verbindungstechnik AG, Tagelswangen,
Switzerland
Maintal, 19 April 2012 - Today Norma Group AG ('Norma Group'), through
NORMA Beteiligungs GmbH, an affiliate of NORMA Group, acquired all shares
of Connectors Verbindungstechnik, AG, Tagelswangen, Switzerland from the
former owner family.
Connectors Verbindungstechnik AG produces and distributes connecting
elements, including products for sterile use in the pharmaceutical and
biotech industries. The Company's net sales were recorded in the previous
financial year with approximately 14 million Euros.
By acquiring Connectors Verbindungstechnik AG Norma Group's expands its
product portfolio with sterile techniques products.
The purchase price will be paid in cash from NORMA Group's balance sheet
and partly by utilizing NORMA Group's existing credit facility. Further
details regarding the transaction will be kept confidential pursuant to the
terms of a confidentiality agreement.

NORMA Group AG ('NORMA Group'), a global market and technology leader for
engineered joining technology, acquired Connectors Verbindungstechnik AG
('Connectors') effective 19 April 2012. The parties agreed to maintain
confidentiality on the details of the transaction.
Connectors, based in Tagelswangen, Switzerland, specialises on connector
systems for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. For more than 25
years, the company has been manufacturing and distributing connector
elements that meet the highest purity standards for medical sterile
technology. The product range includes clamps, valves, tubes and joining
solutions for the transport of fluids and gases in medical applications. In
addition, Connectors also offers its customers consultancy and planning
services for pharmaceutical process plants. The company generated sales of
around EUR 14 million in the financial year 2011. It will be consolidated
as part of NORMA Group with immediate effect.

provider of specialised joining technology for medical engineering NORMA
Group will get better access to customers in the pharmaceutical and
biotechnology sectors. We will make use of the expertise of Connectors to
extend our product portfolio and will improve our global leadership in
