Item 5.02(b) Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers. On September 15, 2005, Nordson Corporation issued a press release announcing several changes to its executive management team and the intended retirement of Donald J. McLane, corporate senior vice president. Subsequently, on August 24, 2006, Nordson Corporation issued a press release announcing Mr. McLane will retire on December 9, 2006 after 24 years as an executive officer of the Company. Mr. McLane retired effective December 12, 2006. A copy of the September 15, 2005 and August 24, 2006 press releases are filed with this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and 99.2, respectively and are hereby incorporated by reference in this Item 5.02(b).
