Item 8.01. Other Events.

On June 25, 2015, Noodles & Company (the "Company") issued a Press Release announcing that the board of directors of the Company appointed Mark Mears as the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the Company, effective July 20, 2015. The Press Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

In connection with his employment with the Company, Mr. Mears will enter into a severance agreement with the Company, under which Mr. Mears is entitled to certain severance payments if he is terminated in certain circumstances.
