FINANCIAL RESULTS OF NLCIL FOR THE QUARTER ENDED 30.06.2022
Key Highlights — Physical Performance
STANDALONE
- Standalone Power Generation during the quarter ended 30.06.2022 is 6963.03 MU against 6638.63 MU in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 4.89% and respectively.
- Highest Ever Power generation (6963.03 MU) for any Quarter since inception is achieved in QI 2022-23 (Previous highest gross generation was 6638.63 MU in QI 2021-22)
- Lignite Production during the quarter ended 30.06.2022 is 63.25 LT against 49.62 LT in the corresponding period of the previous year.
- Coal Sales during the quarter ended 30.06.2022 is 27.12 LT against 4.31 LT in the corresponding period of the previous year.
- NLCIL average PLF 80.32 % against All India Average of 69.50 %
- TPS I Expn secured #1 in Performance among all Thermal Power Plants in the country for the QI FY 2022-23 as per the CEA report.
CONSOLIDATED
Consolidated Power Generation during the quarter ended 30.06.2022 is 8391.66 MU as against 7965.55 MU in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 5.35%.

STANDALONE
The Total Income of the Company for the Quarter ended 30.06.2022 is Rs.3 176.54 crore as against Rs.2504.45 crore in the corresponding period of-the previous year, registering a growth of 26.84%. ve
Profit Before Tax (PBT) before exceptional items for the Quarter ended 30.06.2022 is Rs. 757.15 crore as against Rs. 424.49 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 78.37%.
Profit for the period (PAT) for the Quarter ended 30.06.2022 is Rs. 506.08 crore as against Rs. 267.22 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 89.39%.
CONSOLIDATED
The Total Income of the Group during the quarter ended 30.06.2022 is Rs. 3966.01 crore as against Rs. 3221.79 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 23.10%.
Profit After Tax (PAT) for the Quarter ended 30.06.2022 is Rs.568.83 crore as against Rs. 357.59 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 59.07%.
