In continuation to our letter dated 18.07.2024 and in compliance to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is to inform that Ministry of Power (MoP), Govt. of India vide its order no. 9/10/2021-NHPC dated 07.08.2024 has appointed Shri Raj Kumar Chaudhary (DIN:10198931), Director (Technical), NHPC to the post of Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC Limited for a period w.e.f. the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. 30.06.2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Shri Raj Kumar Chaudhary has assumed the charge of the post of Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC Limited on 07.08.2024. A brief profile of Shri Chaudhary is enclosed herewith.

It is also to inform that consequent to the above, Shri Rajendra Prasad Goyal (DIN: 08645380), Director (Finance), NHPC ceases to hold the additional charge of the post of Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC Limited.

हमारे िदनांक 18.07.2024 के पतर् के कर्म मे और सेबी [सूचीब�ता (िलिस्टंग) बाध्यताएँ और पर्कटीकरण अपेक्षाएँ] िविनयम , 2015 के िविनयम 30 के अनुपालन म� , यह सूिचत िकया जाता है िक िव�ुत मंतर्ालय (एमओपी) , भारत सरकार ने अपने आदेश सं. 9/10/2021 - एनएचपीसी िदनांक 07.08.2024 �ारा शर्ी राज कुमार चौधरी (डीआईएन:10198931) , िनदेशक (तकनीकी) , एनएचपीसी को उनके पदभार गर्हण करने की ितिथ से उनकी सेवािनवृि� की ितिथ यानी 30.06.2025 तक या अगले आदेश� तक , जो भी पहले हो , एनएचपीसी िलिमटेड के अध्यक्ष और पर्बंध िनदेशक के पद पर िनयुक्त िकया है।

शर्ी राज कुमार चौधरी ने 07.08.2024 को एनएचपीसी िलिमटेड के अध्यक्ष एवं पर्बंध िनदेशक का पदभार गर्हण कर िलया है। शर्ी चौधरी का संिक्ष� पिरचय संलग्न है।

यह भी सूिचत िकया जाता है िक उपरोक्त के उपरान्त , शर्ी राज�दर् पर्साद गोयल (डीआईएन: 08645380) , िनदेशक (िव�) , एनएचपीसी , के पास सीएमडी , एनएचपीसी िलिमटेड के पद का अितिरक्त पर्भार नह� है।

Brief profile of Shri Raj Kumar Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director, NHPC

Shri Raj Kumar Chaudhary (DIN: 10198931) (59 Years) is a graduate in Civil Engineering from BIT (Sindri) and has also done Advance Diploma in Management. He joined NHPC in 1989 as a Probationary Executive (Civil) at Koel Karo HEP, Jharkhand. Shri Chaudhary steadily rose in his career to the post of Chairman & Managing Director, NHPC. Earlier, he was also Director (Technical) of NHPC. Shri Chaudhary has worked at various positions in Cost Engineering department, Design & Engineering department and four Construction Projects of NHPC, Koel Karo, Kalpong, Teesta‐V and Subansiri Lower HEPs and two construction projects in Bhutan, Mangdechhu & Punatsangchhu‐II HEPs. He possesses experience in all aspects of development of a hydro‐project from concept to commissioning and has contributed in development of hydropower in India and Bhutan. Shri Chaudhary worked at Kalpong HE project from conception to commissioning of the project, 16 months ahead of the schedule. It was a remarkable achievement for NHPC as the project was in a very remote island of Andaman & Nicobar. Shri Chaudhary has played active role in commissioning of Teesta‐V HE Project (510 MW) in Sikkim and Mangdechhu HE Project (720 MW) in Bhutan. Shri Chaudhary was also instrumental in repairing of HRT of 1020 MW Tala HEP Project in Bhutan as an expert member. Shri Chaudhary is also Nominee Director in Ratle Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited.
