BOARD CHANGES

After 28 years of outstanding service, NEXT's Group Finance Director David Keens (60) has informed the Board that he intends to retire from the Group.  David will retire shortly after the announcement of the Group's results in March 2015.  David was appointed to the Board in 1991 and has served in his current post for 23 years.

The Board intends to appoint Amanda James (42) as David's replacement in March 2015.

Amanda has been at NEXT for 18 years.  She has led the management accounting and commercial finance team since 2005, and in this role was appointed Commercial Finance Director in 2009.  In 2012 Amanda was promoted to her current position of NEXT Brand Finance Director.  In these roles Amanda has gained a comprehensive knowledge of NEXT's operations and played a central role in the financial management of the business.

The Board confirms that currently no other disclosures need to be made under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of this proposed appointment.
