Shareholder Meeting Notice and Admission Ticket

NewMarket Corporation’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held on April 22, 2010 at the Virginia Historical Society 428 North Boulevard Richmond, VA at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Directions to the annual meeting can be found in the proxy statement.

Proposals to be voted on at the meeting are listed below along with the Board of Directors’ recommendations.

The Board of Directors recommends that you vote FOR the following proposals:

  1. Election of Directors.

  2. Ratification of the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the independent registered public accounting firm for the Corporation for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2010.

In their discretion, the Proxyholders are authorized to vote upon such other business and matters as may properly come before the Annual Meeting.
