This is a notice under the Securities Market Act of Finland Chapter 2 Section
10:

Ahlström Capital Oy (business ID 1670034-3) and its subsidiary Karhula
Osakeyhtiö (business ID 0135950-3) have sold their holding in Vacon Plc to
DutchCo Gamma Holding B.V., a fully owned subsidiary of Ahlström Capital Oy.
DutchCo Gamma Holding B.V. has informed us that the holding of shares in Vacon
Plc has exceeded 1/5 (20 %) due to the abovementioned share purchase.

Ahlström Capital has informed us that its direct holding of shares in Vacon Plc
has fallen below 1/20 (5 %) due to the share transaction.

Vacon Plc has only one class of shares and the total number of shares is
15,295,000. Each share is entitled to one vote.
