Director Appointment and Proposed Issue

Murray Cod Australia Limited (ASX: MCA; Murray Cod Australia ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David Crow as non-executive director, effective today.

Mr Crow is a globally experienced CEO and non-executive director, who brings over 30 years’ experience in senior leadership to his role at MCA.

Non-executive Director of Zhik Pty Ltd and former Managing Director, British American Tobacco (BAT) Australasia and South and Southern Africa, David’s career has been focused on marketing, consumer, and corporate management roles in major FMCG companies across Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

David has also worked in the UK and Europe with GlaxoSmithKline for six years in the early 1990s as Marketing Director and prior to that trained and worked with Unilever in brand and trade management roles.

“We are delighted to have attracted someone of the calibre of David as an independent nonexecutive director to the Company. He has a proven track record of delivering world-class growth agendas with consumer and customer focused brand portfolios, that will be invaluable to the Company as we advance towards our expansion targets,” said Ross Anderson, Executive Chairman, MCA.

In order to incentivise Mr Crow for future performance, subject to receiving necessary shareholder approval, the Company intends to issue options to Mr Crow or his nominee under the Company’s securities incentive plan on the same terms and conditions as the Director options approved by shareholders on 18 December 2020, comprised of the following tranches:

The Company intends to seek shareholder approval for the issue of these options and will dispatch a notice of shareholder meeting in the coming weeks.
