Motorpoint, the UK's largest independent vehicle retailer, hereby notifies the market that, on 20 October 2016, Shoby Investments Limited, a person closely associated with David Shelton, a Director of Motorpoint, purchased 520,000 shares in the Company on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 138 pence per share.  This purchase results in Shoby Investments Limited being interested in a total of 23,396,726 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 23.4% of the 100,194,023 ordinary shares in the Company currently in issue.
