Motorpoint, the UK's largest independent vehicle retailer, hereby notifies the market that, on 20 October 2016, Mark Morris, the Non Executive Chairman of Motorpoint, purchased 260,000 shares in the Company on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 138 pence per share.  This purchase results in Mark Morris being interested in a total of 8,614,556 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 8.6% of the 100,194,023 ordinary shares in the Company currently in issue.
