Subject: Intimation regarding Appointment order of Chairman-cum-Managing Director

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is to inform that we have received a letter No. S-14014/1/2024-BLA dated 07.01.2026 from Government of India through Ministry of Steel appointing Shri Vishwanath Suresh as Chairmancum-Managing Director on the Board of MOIL Limited for a period from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. 31.08.2030, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

In this regard, it is to inform that, he has assumed the charge as Chairman-cum-Managing Director of MOIL Limited from today i.e. 07.01.2026.

Further, Shri Vishwanath Suresh is not related to any Director or Key Managerial Personnel of the company and is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order of SEBI or any other authority and is also not disqualified from holding the office of director pursuant to provisions of Section 164 of the Companies Act, 2013.

Brief profile of Shri Vishwanath Suresh is enclosed as Annexure I.

Shri Vishwanath Suresh Chairman-cum-Managing Director

Shri Vishwanath Suresh is an alumnus of the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, and is a Metallurgical Engineer. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and a certificate in the Advanced Strategic Management course from IIM Kozhikode. Before joining MOIL Limited, Shri Vishwanath Suresh was Director (Commercial) at NMDC Limited. Prior to this, he held the post of Executive Director (Coal Import) and the additional charge of Executive Director (Corporate Materials Management) at SAIL.

With a long service spanning over three decades in the mining and manufacturing sector, his career is marked by versatile experience in fields such as sales and marketing of steel and iron ore in domestic and international markets, procurement, strategic management, and policy. With visionary commercial acumen, he has led numerous initiatives for systems improvement, boosting sales and revenue.

He has also served as a Director in other group companies of NMDC, such as NMDC Steel Limited, NMDC CSR Foundation, NMDC–CMDC Limited, Bastar Railway Private Limited, Krishnapatnam Railway Company Limited, Jharkhand National Mineral Development Corporation Limited, and Legacy Iron Ore Limited.
