Item 5.02 DEPARTURE OF DIRECTORS OR PRINCIPAL OFFICERS; ELECTION OF DIRECTORS; APPOINTMENT OF PRINCIPAL OFFICERS

On December 15, 2020, Middlesex Water Company (the “Company”) announced that its Board of Directors named Dr. Joshua Bershad to a seat on its Board. The directorship becomes effective December 15, 2020 as outlined in the attached press release.

There is no arrangement or understanding between Dr. Bershad and any other persons pursuant to which he was appointed to the Board.
