APPOINTMENT OF CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

Micro-X Limited (ASX:MX1) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jeff Trost as a US-based Corporate Development Consultant. Mr Trost’s role will be to assist the Company in managing various strategic partnering and business development activities with leading companies in the global security and healthcare industries.

The decision to appoint Mr Trost follows the receipt of inbound inquiries from parties interested in exploring potential applications of Micro-X's platform technology and partnering opportunities arising from the Company's existing product pipeline. In concert with senior management, Jeff will assist the Company in formalising the potential partnering opportunities, working with those parties that have already expressed interest and other parties well-placed to add value through an appropriately structured partnering arrangement.

Jeff Trost has over a decade of strategic advisory and transaction experience at GCA, a global investment bank based in San Francisco. While at GCA, Jeff was Director of Healthcare Investment Banking, where he worked exclusively with healthcare companies on various strategic transactions. In this role, he was instrumental in securing a US$35 million investment from KKR into Signostics Ltd., which was at that time an Adelaide-based start-up and innovator in the field of highly miniaturised medical ultrasound technology.

In selecting appropriate partners, the Board of Micro-X is focused on parties that are prepared to make a strategic investment into the Company as part of a broader collaboration commitment.
