TRADING HALT

The securities of Metro Mining Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 13 July 2016 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Metro Mining Request for Trading Halt

Metro Mining Limited (Metro Mining or the Company) requests that a trading halt be granted by ASX immediately with respect to its fully paid ordinary shares (ASX: MMI).

For the purposes of Listing Rule 17.1, Metro Mining provides the following information:

• (a) The trading halt is requested pending an announcement regarding fundraising.

• (b) Metro Mining requests the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of such time as it makes an announcement in relation to the fundraising and the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 13 July 2016.

• (c) Metro Mining is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
