Head Office Relocation to Perth and appointment of new CFO/Company Secretary

• Metgasco Head Office moved to Perth to support increasing work activity on the significant Cervantes oil exploration project

• Mr. Paul Bird appointed as Chief Financial Officer and joint Company Secretary

Metgasco Ltd (ASX:MEL) ( Metgasco or the Company ) is pleased to advise that the Head Office will be relocated from Sydney to West Perth, Western Australia from 17 February 2020.

As outlined in Metgasco’s AGM presentation in November, the company has been seconded by RCMA Australia as exploration operator of the Cervantes project in L14 licence in the Perth Basin. This requires local presence to efficiently perform the significant increase in well project management and technical activity in CY2020.

Metgasco has appointed Paul Bird as Chief Financial Officer and joint Company Secretary. Paul has 22 years finance experience in ASX listed and private companies in both the UK and Australia (see attached biography). The role will initially be on a 0.7 FTE basis and on completion of handover from the Company Matters team is expected to convert to FTE from April.

MR. PAUL BIRD:

Paul Bird is a Chartered Accountant with over 22 years’ experience, which has been predominately within the oil and gas E&P industry.

Paul has been responsible for many facets of finance and business administration including financial control and reporting, debt & capital raising, treasury management, insurance and risk management, tax planning. Execution of corporate acquisitions and divestments including business valuations for M&A activities; and joint venture farm in/out transactions have also been a strong part of Paul’s experience.

Paul has had exposure in Australia, US, Europe, and SE Asia and has strong experience in the management of listed corporations including corporate governance practices. He has held previous roles with national oil companies, publicly listed and private oil companies
