OUARTERLY REPORT For the Quarter Ended 30 June 2006

METEORIC RESOURCES NI, abn 64 107 985 651.

SUMMARY

  • Encouraging results, including 7m at 13.4g/t Au and 10m at 7.1g/t $\blacksquare$ Au, from a close-spaced 54-hole RC drilling programme in two test areas at Harrods Central. The detailed drilling has, for the first time, allowed mineralisation shapes to be interpreted at Harrods with some confidence. The two test areas are estimated to make up less than 20% of the Harrods Central sheeted vein system. Modelling of the shape and grade of the test areas is now in progress with a major drill-out envisaged to start in the September quarter.
  • Infill RAB drilling at Harrods South confirms gold mineralisation $\blacksquare$ over a strike length of 800m and provides targets for further drilling.
  • An under-explored property optioned adjacent to the Wilthorpe $\blacksquare$ project expected to provide new drilling targets within 5km of Harrods.
  • Exploration for gold and nickel has commenced at Ularring NW of $\blacksquare$ Coolgardie and geochemical surveys for gold are about to start at Ruby Well, north of Meekatharra.

WILTHORPE (Meteoric 90%)

As recently reported (ASX release of 25 July 2006), a 54-hole, 3,297m RC drilling programme has been completed at Harrods Central following delays caused by several rain events. Harrods Central forms part of Meteoric's Wilthorpe gold project situated 25km south of the 1Moz Fortnum gold mine in the Peak Hill goldfield, WA. The close-spaced drilling (12.5m centres) tested two 50m x 50m panels (termed Areas A and B) to a depth of 50m to provide more information on the shape of the mineralisation and on the open cut potential of the Harrods Central sheeted vein system - see Figure 1.

Significant results from Area A include 5m at 6.2q/t Au from 4m, 7m at 9.1q/t from 31m (including 2m at 25.9g/t), 3m at 12.7g/t from 45m, 2m at 10.3g/t from 40m and 10m at 7.1a/t from 23m. Results from Area B include 1m at 20.9a/t from 56m. 1m at 12.4a/t from 33m, 7m at 13.4g/t from 35m, 11m at 4.7g/t from 3m (including 4m at 10.7g/t) and 3m at 7.6q/t from 53m. A 10m-wide post-mineral dolerite dyke transects the centre of Area B. The drilling results from Areas A and B are summarised in Tables 1 and 2 respectively. The close-spaced drilling has, for the first time, allowed mineralisation shapes to be interpreted at Harrods with some confidence.

These encouraging results confirm the presence of numerous steep-dipping ENE trending quartz veins and stringers in each of the 50m-wide test areas as shown in the sections in Figures 2 and 3. The mineralised zones range from 0.5m to more than 5m in thickness and remain open at depth and along strike. In plan, the mineralisation is interpreted to comprise numerous steep-plunging shoots and lenses ranging from 10m to more than 50m in length. The two test panels are estimated to comprise less than 20% of the currently identified more intensely mineralised area at Harrods Central.

Geological consultants have been engaged to model the shape and grade of the mineralisation within the two test areas and are expected to report on this exercise by mid August. The results of this study will be used to determine the optimum drilling density required for resource evaluation at Harrods. It is envisaged that Meteoric is likely to embark on a major drill out in the September quarter based on the results of the current study, in order to test the open cut potential of the remaining 80% of Harrods Central.

In addition to the detailed RC drilling a 107-hole, 6.397m RAB drilling programme was completed, mainly focussed on infilling to 50m line spacing previous drilling at Harrods South about 1km south of Harrods Central. Significant results include 1m at 6.1g/t Au from 37m, 1m at 5.9g/t from 11m, 1m at 11.7g/t from 7m, 1m at 6.5m from 40m, 2m at 4.8g/t from 48m and 1m at 4.7g/t from 71m with results shown in Table 3. The drilling confirms the presence of numerous narrow mineralised veins trending ENE over a strike length of 800m. In the central section of this zone the corridor of sheeted veins broadens to more than 100m in width. Further drilling to assess this mineralisation is likely to proceed in conjunction with the Harrods Central evaluation.

Adiacent to its Wilthorpe exploration licence. Meteoric has optioned a 160ha prospecting licence where RAB drilling in the 1980's intersected shallow gold mineralisation within metasediments (best intersection 3m at 1.3g/t Au from 24m). Gold mineralisation and anomalism can be traced over a 500m strike length in an ENE direction. A detailed ground magnetic survey has been carried out prior to drill testing of this new target about 5km SSW of Harrods Central. A second nearby 105ha tenement has also been optioned subject to grant of access. Meteoric may acquire a 100% interest in the tenements by making a cash payment within two years plus a 2% gross royalty applicable after the first 25,000ozs of gold production.

BULLFINCH (Meteoric 90%)

A 42-hole, 2,340m RAB drilling programme was completed over geochemical anomalies at Golden Frog Extended (near Rutherfords Find), Perilya and Withers South. Gold values were generally low, with a best intercept of 4m at 3.1g/t Au from 8m at Golden Frog Extended, indicating a localised shoot within quartz veining. Meteoric's exploration at Bullfinch will now focus on assessing the economic potential of Rutherfords Find where Meteoric previously announced drill intersections over a 250m strike length with a best intercept of 4m at 10.1g/t Au from 71m.

JARBORA HILL (Meteoric 100%)

Programmes of RAB drilling (19 holes, 569m), shallow geochemical drilling (22 holes, 372m) and aircore drilling (31 holes, 1,294m) were completed over geochemical anomalies in laterite at Emu Well, 20km along strike from Giralia's Snake Well gold project in the Murchison region. The drilling intersected quartz veining within weathered felsic volcanic rocks in several holes, however, gold values are generally low indicating a weakly mineralised source for the extensive gold-in-laterite Consideration is being given to drilling deeper into the bedrock anomalism. mineralisation.

ULARRING (Meteoric 100%)

Fieldwork and reconnaissance sampling of an under-explored greenstone sequence prospective for gold and nickel has commenced at Ularring about 70km NW of Coolgardie.

RUBY WELL (Meteoric 60%)

Geochemical sampling for gold is being planned over structural targets interpreted from aeromagnetics at Ruby Well north of Meekatharra. Ruby Well is situated about 50km SW of Sandfire Resources recent gold discovery at Doolgunna in the Peak Hill aoldfield.
