On January 17, 2007, McDonald’s Corporation (the “Company”) issued an Investor Release reporting the Company’s December, fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2006 sales, and preliminary earnings per share for the fourth quarter 2006. A copy of the related press release is being filed as Exhibit 99 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. The information furnished under this Item 2.02, including such Exhibit, shall be deemed to be “filed” for purposes of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
