Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director

McBride plc, Europe's leading supplier of private label household and personal care products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Hannam as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 4 February 2013.

Steve has extensive experience having held a number of non-executive director or chairman positions with both public and private companies.

Steve is Chairman of Devro plc, a position he has held since 2009.  He is also a

non-executive director at Low and Bonar plc.  Former positions have included non-executive director with Clariant A G, Chairman of Aviagen International Inc., non-executive director of AZ Electronic Materials Services Limited and Group Chief Executive of BTP Chemicals plc.
