The PFSA decision on imposing on mBank S.A. a buffer of othersystemically important institution

With reference to the current reports no. 58/2020 of 22 September 2020and 60/2020 of 30 September 2020 the Management Board of mBank S.A.("Bank") informs that on 6 November 2020 the Bank obtained a decision ofthe Polish Financial Supervision Authority dated 29 October 2020 onimposing on the Bank a buffer of other systemically importantinstitution in the amount equal to 0.50% of the total risk exposureamount calculated in accordance with Art. 92 par. 3 of the Regulation ofthe European Parliament and of the Council (EU) No 575/2013 onprudential requirements for credit institutions and investment firms,amending Regulation (EU) No. 648/2012 (Regulation No. 575/2013).

The previous buffer stood at 0.75% of the total risk exposure amountcalculated in accordance with Article. 92 par. 3 of Regulation No.575/2013.
