The following is a Company Announcement issued by MaltaPost p.l.c. (the "Company") pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules.

The Company hereby announces the appointment of Ing. Daniel Grech, I.D. No 118278M of 7, Alley 2, Preziosi Street, Lija, as Chief Commercial Officer with effect from 7 May 2012.

Mr. Grech occupied the post of Business Marketing Manager with Vodafone Malta Ltd since June 2010 and Consumer Marketing Manager prior to that. He holds an MSc in Engineering Management from Brunel University, U.K.

There is no matter to be disclosed regarding Daniel Grech in terms of Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
