IL GRUPPO MAIRE TECNIMONT SI AGGIUDICA UN CONTRATTO PETROLCHIMICO DA €130 MILIONI DA KAZANORGSINTEZ PJSC NELLA FEDERAZIONE RUSSA

• Il contratto riguarda l'implementazione su base EP di un impianto LDPE/EVA a Kazan, in Tatarstan
• Le controllate Tecnimont Planung & Industrieanlagenbau e MT Russia eseguiranno il progetto all'interno del complesso di Kazanorgsintez

Milano, 5 agosto 2021 – Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. annuncia che le sue controllate Tecnimont Planung & Industrieanlagenbau e MT Russia LLC si sono aggiudicate un contratto EP (Engineering and Procurement) da Kazanorgsintez PJSC (KOS) relativo all'esecuzione di un impianto di polietilene a bassa densità (LDPE)/etilene vinil acetato (EVA), all'interno del complesso di KOS, a Kazan, in Tatarstan (Federazione Russa).

KOS è uno dei maggiori produttori di polietilene nella Federazione Russa ed esporta i suoi prodotti in 36 paesi nel mondo. La cerimonia di firma del contratto si è tenuta presso la sede milanese del Gruppo Maire Tecnimont alla presenza del Direttore Generale di KOS, Farid Minigulov, e dell'Amministratore Delegato del Gruppo Maire Tecnimont, Pierroberto Folgiero, insieme ad altri rappresentanti delle due società.

Il valore complessivo del contratto EP è di circa €130 milioni. Il contratto è su base Lump Sum per i servizi di ingegneria e procurement, mentre la fornitura di equipment e materiali è su base rimborsabile. Lo scopo del lavoro prevede l'implementazione di un nuovo impianto LDPE/EVA con una capacità di 100.000 tonnellate l'anno. Il progetto è mirato all'aumento della capacità produttiva di poliolefine e il suo completamento è previsto entro 40 mesi circa dalla data di firma del contratto.

La parte di scope of work nella Federazione Russa sarà eseguita da MT Russia nel suo centro di ingegneria di Mosca, dove il Gruppo Maire Tecnimont può contare su più di 200 specialisti attualmente coinvolti nella realizzazione di diversi progetti nella Federazione Russa. MT Russia rappresenta pertanto una risorsa strategica all'interno del Gruppo e vanta una solida reputazione quale fornitore di servizi a valore aggiunto per il mercato russo. Tecnimont Planung & Industrieanlagenbau, controllata tedesca di Tecnimont, è la società di ingegneria con sede a Braunschweig altamente specializzata nella progettazione di impianti LDPE.

MAIRE TECNIMONT GROUP AWARDED €130 MN PETROCHEMICAL CONTRACT BY KAZANORGSINTEZ PJSC IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

• The award relates to the implementation of an LDPE/EVA plant on an EP basis to be located in Kazan, Tatarstan

Milan, 5 August 2021 – Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. announces that its subsidiaries Tecnimont Planung & Industrieanlagenbau GmbH and MT Russia LLC have been awarded by Kazanorgsintez PJSC (KOS) an EP contract (Engineering and Procurement) for the execution of a Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE)/ Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) plant, to be implemented inside the existing KOS facilities, located in Kazan, in Tatarstan (Russian Federation).

KOS is one of the largest producers of polyethylene in the Russian Federation, supplying its products to 36 countries worldwide. The contract signing ceremony was held in Maire Tecnimont Group's Milan headquarters and attended by KOS General Director Farid Minigulov and Maire Tecnimont Group Chief Executive Officer Pierroberto Folgiero, together with several top executives of both companies.

The overall EP contract value is approximately €130 million. The contract is under a Lump Sum scheme for the Engineering and Procurement Services and under a Reimbursable scheme for the Equipment and Material supply. The scope of the project includes the implementation of a new LDPE/EVA Plant with a capacity of 100,000 tons per year. The Project will be mainly aimed at expanding the production capacity of polyolefins, and its completion is expected within about 40 months from the contract signing date.

The portion of the scope of work in the Russian Federation will be performed by MT Russia in its Moscow engineering centre, where Maire Tecnimont Group employs about 200 specialists currently involved in several ongoing Russian projects.
