Garbsen, 10 July 2018 – The Supervisory Board of laser machine manufacturer LPKF Laser & Electronics AG today appointed Christian Witt as new Chief Financial Officer. His term of office begins on September 1, 2018, the contract runs for three years. Witt replaces CFO Kai Bentz. Bentz will remain at the company’s disposal in an advisory capacity until the end of his contract.

Witt, 47, holds a Master Degree in Economics. He has many years of experience as CFO in industrial and high-tech companies. He has expanded business models for internationally active companies in Germany and abroad, created sustainable growth and increased profitability and corporate value. Witt has extensive knowledge in Controlling, Treasury, M & A and Compliance.

The Supervisory Board is convinced that Witt, as an entrepreneurial CFO, is the ideal person to work with the CEO, Goetz Bendele, to drive LPKF forward on its growth path and to tap new value potential.

LPKF Laser & Electronics AG shares are listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ISIN 0006450000).
