NOTIFICATION UNDER LISTING RULE 9.6.14R

Pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.14R, Lloyds Banking Group plc (the "Company" ) announces that Deborah McWhinney, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, was appointed as an Independent Director of IHS Markit Ltd. with effect from 12 July 2016. IHS Markit Ltd., is the new name of Markit Ltd. following the completion of its merger on 12 July 2016 with IHS Inc., on which Ms McWhinney served on the Board as an Independent Director (as previously announced by the Company). IHS Markit Ltd. is listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
