On March 10, 2006, Levi Strauss & Co. announced that it priced an offering of $350.0 million 8.875% Senior Notes due 2016 and € 100.0 million 8.625% Senior Notes due 2013 in a private placement. A copy of the press release announcing the pricing of the private placement is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
