Metminco Limited ("Metminco") gives notice in accordance with section 650D of the Corporations Act 2001 ('Act") that it varies the offers dated 10 December 2008 made in its Bidder's Statement dated 10 December 2008, by extending the offer per¡od, pursuant to section 650C of the Act, so as to change the close of the offer period from 7:00pm (AEDT) on 30 January 2009 to 7:00pm (AEDT) on 24 Febtuary 2009 (unless further extended in accordance w¡th the Act).

A copy of this notice was lodged with the Australian Securities and lnvestments Commission ("AS|C') on 24 December 2008. ASIC takes no responsibility for the contents of this notice.
