CFO / Company Secretary appointment
Los Cerros Limited (ASX: LCL) (Los Cerros or the Company) advises that Mr Michael Allen has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary effective 9 November 2021.
Michael is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants with over 30 years’ experience primarily in the resources sector. Michael has held senior management positions with Resolute Mining, AngloGold Ashanti and Anglo American across exploration, development and producing gold projects.
Michael later worked as CFO at Dragon Mining and at PMI Gold, where he helped raise $150 million in equity and set up debt facilities.
Los Cerros Managing Director Jason Stirbinskis said “ We welcome Michael to the team and look forward to working with him at this important period in our development . Michael’s deep experience in capital markets both here and in North America combined with working on advanced gold projects will prove extremely valuable going forward. Michael also has significant experience in and personal alignment to ESG and corporate social responsibility matters, further enhancing the Company’s focus in this vital area.
Jessamyn Lyons and Blair Snowball have both resigned from their positions. Jess has served as Joint Company Secretary and Blair as CFO and Joint Company Secretary.
The Los Cerros Board thanks both Blair and Jess for their high-quality support and dedication over recent years as the company has evolved to the ~$100M market company it is today.
