The Board of Directors of Lagardère SA has appointed Eight Advisory as independent expert

In the context of the proposed takeover bid announced by Vivendi SE, the Board of Directors of the Company, decided today, on the proposal of its ad hoc Committee, to appoint as independent expert Eight Advisory, represented by Mr. Geoffroy Bizard, who will conduct the mission with the support of Mr. Alexis Karklins-Marchay.

The mission of the independent expert will be to draw up a report including a fairness opinion on the financial conditions of the proposed offer (in accordance with article 261-1 I, of the general regulations of the French Financial markets authority (Autorité des marchés financiers)). The ad hoc Committee will ensure the follow-up of the work of the independent expert.
