Gympie Gold Limited is seeking a trading halt until commencement of trading on Thursday 20 November 2003 due to a pending capital raising.

As soon as the details of the capital raising have been finalised the company will make an announcement to the market.

Gympie Gold Limited is not aware of any reason why the halt should not be granted.
