Sale of Systems US-Aerospace-Business
With the approval of the Supervisory Board of KUKA Aktiengesellschaft,
today KUKA Aerospace Holdings LLC sold its Systems US-Aerospace-Business,
which was carved-out into a subsidiary, to the US company Advanced
Integration Technology, Inc.
The Sale of the Systems US-Aerospace-Business has to be seen in the context
of the tender offer of MECCA International (BVI) Limited, a 100% subsidiary
of Midea Group Co., Ltd. as of 16 June 2016. For the closing of the tender
offer approvals by the US government authorities CFIUS (Committee on
Foreign Investment in the United States) and DDTC (Directorate of Defense
Trade Controls) are required. The sale of the Systems US-Aerospace-Business
is a crucial prerequisite to obtain these approvals.
