Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— HAITEC closes 2000 with increase in turnover by more than 63% to approx. 103 million Euro – Provisional figures for the business year 2000 – Sales expectations of 102 million Euro were exceeded – Service portion of approx. 23 million Euro – 1.4 million Euro EBIT planned for 2001 Munich – According to provisional calculations the Munich IT-service provider HAITEC AG (WKN 600 520) has exceeded its sales objective which was increased after acquiring ICP and update from 90 million Euro (176 million DM) to 102 million Euro (200 million DM) in the last business year (December 31) and will amount to approx. 103 million Euro (203 million DM). Compared with 1999 this shows an increase of approx. 40 million Euro (78 million DM) and amounts to more than 63 %. Again HAITEC belongs to those service companies of the IT-sector with the highest increases and strengthens its position among the leading providers in Germany. The number of HAITEC-employees was increased by more than 40% to 487 comparing year-on-year (reporting date December 31). Services of the HAITEC-group also increased above average. Due to the accelerated expansion of the Competence Center in the third quarter 2000 the service portion was increased by more than 90% to approx. 23 million Euro (45 million DM) vis-a-vis 1999. Only in the fourth quarter 2000 the concern generated almost 40 % of total sales. Referred to the overall year the operative result will be improved by approx. 50% compared with the previous year despite an increased total depreciation. In the running business year HAITEC-group shows an increase of orders of about 60% vis-a-vis last year at the reporting date January 31. The company expects a turnover of approx. 110 million Euro (215 million DM) for 2001 and an operative result (EBIT) of 1.4 million Euro (2.75 million DM). Final figures for the business year 2000 will be made public on March 20 on an accounts press conference held in Munich. On June 18 the general meeting will also be held in Munich.
