Ad hoc-Service: HAITEC AG new board of direct

Ad-hoc Mitteilung übermittelt durch die DGAP. Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— HAITEC Announces New Board of Directors Axel Feldhoff replaces Klaus Gruenewald as CEO New members of board for Competence Center and Technology Focus on High-Value-Service will be continued Main shareholders back in leading positions in the company The supervisory board of the Munich IT-Service Provider HAITEC appointed a new team for the board of directors. Axel Feldhoff (43) will be new CEO of HAITEC – a company that currently employs over 500. Feldhof has occupied leading positions in the IT-industry for over 15 years and has been a member of the board at HAITEC since 1997. To date, Feldhoff has been responsible for Sales and Marketing and will keep both functions as new CEO. Axel Feldhoff will replace Klaus Grünewald who has been CEO of HAITEC since October 1999 after founder and former CEO Thomas Weiser retired from his functions due to a serious automobile accident. Grünewald has contributed decisively to the recent reorganization of both the company as well as of the board of directors. Under his direction, HAITEC has successfully acquired and integrated into its operations two IT companies over 150 employees combined. In addition to Axel Feldhoff and Bernd Cyris, the CFO responsible for staff development at the HAITEC group, two new members have been appointed to the board of directors: Dr. Jan Rau (50), Professor of computer animation who has been with Haitec since 1996 serving as head of the Frankfurt Business Unit Cross Nord, as well as Christian Huber (40) an engineer, founder and main shareholder of the company. Rau will be responsible for the existing HAITEC Competence Center (CAE, SAP, e-Business, NT, Lotus Notes, Supply Chain Management) as well as for new Center. Huber will serve as CTO for software development. The board of directors will propose Axel Saxinger, entrepreneur and member of the Weiser family, as successor to Christian Huber in the supervisory board. As a result, both founder and main shareholders of HAITEC will work or be represented in leading positions in the company. As to the perspectives of HAITEC, Feldhoff declares: “Today, HAITEC is ideally reorganized in terms of personal and structure. We optimistically look forward to reaching our goals. It’s a clear signal for our staff, our business partners and our shareholders that the new teams on the boards — including both founders and main shareholders — stand for continuity and new prospects. It’s our task to profit from the upturn in the IT market which has occurred since the beginning of this year and simultaneously to continue to build up the HAITEC group as a ‘High-Value-Service-Company’ within the IT industry. The dynamic first quarter — with incoming orders significantly above the first quarter of 1999 — proves that HAITEC is already on the right track. I am sure that the company will achieve our new goal of DM 200 Mio. in sales in the current fiscal year.” Ende der Mitteilung
