Korab Resources Ltd (“ Korab ”, o r “ Company ”) ( ASX: KOR ) advises t h at it has resolved to rais e funds by way of a placement o f up to 7.2 M ln shares a t 2.8 cents e ach to un-r e lated exempt invest o rs. This plac e ment is to b e completed w ithin existin g 15% share placement c a pacity and n o share h older approv a l is required . The issue price of 2.8 c e nts per shar e is the same as the 5 da y volum e weighted average price and 7% below the last traded price of 3 cent p e r share. Th e Comp a ny used a pl a cement of s h ares instead of a pro-rata share issue d ue to the ti m e constraints, the re l atively small size of the i ssue and hi g h cost of c o nducting a p ro-rata issue. There is n o commission payabl e on this plac e ment.
