The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Koenig & Bauer (KBA) acquires packaging press specialist Bauer + Kunzi Würzburg-based German press manufacturer Koenig & Bauer AG has acquired a 100% stake in Bauer + Kunzi Gesellschaft für Drucktechnik mbH in Ditzingen, near Stuttgart. Bauer + Kunzis 45-strong workforce generates annual sales of around Euro 20m manufacturing high-quality metal-decorating presses, primarily for the technical and food industries. The purchase price was not revealed. Pending official approval the acquisition will add a niche capability to KBAs strong position in the medium- and large-format packaging press market.
