Kingston Resources Ltd (ASX:KSN) is pleased to announce that highly credentialed geologist Mike Woodbury BSci (hons) FAusIMM FSEG MAIG has been appointed as Exploration Manager – Misima. With more than 20 years’ international exploration experience, including four years at Misima with the Placer Dome exploration team, Mike is in an ideal position to rapidly advance Kingston’s exploration strategy on the project.
“We’re very happy to have someone of Mike’s calibre joining the team on Misima” commented Kingston’s Managing Director Andrew Corbett. “Mike’s skill set complements that of the existing team who have been working on Misima for several years, in particular our Project Manager Charles Yobone and Project Geologist Kolbe Bare”.
During his career Mike has explored for gold and base metals in Australia and internationally, including time in PNG, Greenland, West Africa, Romania and more recently Mongolia. This background has given Mike a strong understanding of epithermal gold-silver deposits and porphyry copper-gold systems, both of which are directly relevant to the Misima project. Mike will be working closely with Charles Yobone BSci, Misima Project Manager, and Kolbe Bare BSci, Project Geologist.
Charles is a geologist with more than 30 years in the industry, including extensive experience in porphyry copper-gold, epithermal and skarn-type gold deposits. During this time he has worked at multiple gold and copper projects in PNG, including Kainantu, Crater Mountain, Woodlark Island and Ramu amongst others. Charles has been managing exploration at Misima since 2012 and has long-standing, constructive relationships with the local landowners and the islanders generally.

Kolbe has also been working on Misima as a Project Geologist for more than five years. During this time, he has established himself as an excellent technical geologist and a popular member of the team. Charles and Kolbe are both graduates of the University of Papua New Guinea.
Kingston looks forward to updating the market as exploration on Misima recommences in the near future.

About Kingston Resources
KSN is a metals exploration company with gold and lithium exploration projects. The Company’s priority is the world-class Misima Gold Project, which contains an NI43-101 resource of 2.3Moz Au and outstanding potential for additional resource growth through exploration success.
The Company also has an attractive, well placed portfolio of lithium exploration tenements in Northern Territory and Western Australia. Initial work was carried out and reported on across the lithium portfolio during FY17. The results from this activity, in addition to work carried out by others on nearby tenements, are encouraging and provide an exciting program for the current year.
In addition, KSN has an option to acquire 75% of the Livingstone Gold Project in Western Australia. Livingstone is an emerging gold exploration project, with an inferred resource of 50koz Au and a large geochemical anomaly ready to drill in 2018.
