Placement Undertaken of $1.0 million

ANNOUNCEMENT 20 August 2009

NiPlats Australia Limited (ASX: NIP) announces the placement of a $1.0 million capital raising through the issue of 5,000,000 million ordinary shares at 20 cents per share.

The placement was made to professional investors.

The company will apply the funds to fund the 2008 exploration programme outlined in the company announcement made on 19[th] August 2009.
