REVIEW OF EXPLORATION ACTIVITIES 2006 AKBEL PROJECT

• Recent ceological ceochenical & ceophysical analysis has defined 2 new prospective corridors - extensions of the Kuntor Trand hosting a string of gold deposits – this is the RAZE
• The most prospecitye sites worthy of chiling in those corridors have been pinpointed using on-site analysis of the data & independently confirmed by MMI Technology, Perth
• We have been carrying out the drilling program as scheduled. The oneoine drilline is civine us valuable information - NW vector & fast tracking us into where to focus drilling

• The RD 850 drill rig is not coping technically due to the O iouch environnental conditions — ground conditions (moralne), alitiude, and permairost
• This means that we now understand the job / project n lociter and have come up with staded solutions to address the problems
• In the short cim the services of one of the world's best n rated drillers have been procured to quide the future Cralline

• The current RD 350 rig will be directed to the specific n sites for which it is most suitable — where the moraine COVER IS TRINING CARO LESS CITTIGUIT
• To panairata the thickes! (E150M) and most resistant moraine cover, we are moving to site a much more powerful ric - RD 1500 (equivalent) which will begin operations in Q4

REVIEW OF EXPLORATION AGTIVITIES 2006 Other Kyrgyz Projects

• Focus of activities outside of Akbel will be on the follow-up of multiple gold. targets in the Bashkol licence area
• This February we have completed initial drill testing at Uzunbulak. Analysis has given mixed results and we are considering future options
• We have progressed all of our projects over the last 12 months and have added
  2 new projects to the portfolio at East Koksu and Za-Alai n
• Ongoing geological appraisals of Barkol, Karabalta, and linitial evaluation East Koksu of Za-Alai are planned
• Continue target generation work in southern Kyrgyz Republic for world class gold and copper-gold deposits
• Continue to seek and acquire gold project in other selected parts of Central Asia and Eastern Europe to lessen dependence on one geographic location
